First Candle (formerly known as The National SIDS Alliance, Inc.) provides bereavement support to families who experience an infant death, risk reduction education to professionals and support for medical research designed to clarify and eventually eliminate SIDS. First Candle is a national, non-profit health organization uniting individuals, families and professionals interested in finding ways to reduce SIDS and infant death.
