A loving tribute to my beautiful grandson Jonathan, who died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at 5 1/2 weeks old on August 22nd, 2007. We will always love him and will never be the same. We miss him so much.

He was the most beautiful babyboy I have ever seen. I had twins 5 wks early and almost lost my son cause of immature lungs. I cant even begin to imagine the pain ur family is going through, and his momma, I feel for her and will pray for her. Thank you for sharing this.

I’m really so sorry. We have also suffered the same fate. God may give you much strength. But be certain that your child is now in heaven playing with our Jeremiah.

First off… I am SO sorry for your loss and I can’t imagine the hell you have walked through. I was wondering for my own sake and research on this subject if your baby was immunized? I have been doing a lot of research on this trying to decide whether or not to put it off until my baby is older. I have found that SIDS has gone up dramatically since our “mandatory” childhood immunizations have added more and more shots to our babies schedules. Seems like SIDS happens most during those months

@chrissys26 I am so sorry for you’re loss…I have a prescois baby in my home, 1 year and 1/2. I can’t imagen the pain you feel, but the baby in my house hold is not my son or granson but he’s my brother, and I’m 10, so sorry for the poor grammer. God bless you.

Thanks to all the kind words. This tribute is my way of always remembering the special moments we cherished so much. Also to reach out to others who also understand. We are never alone.
Comments do not need to be posted in response to evil people. They have no heart and will never understand what losing someone so special is about. My time is to precious to spend on negativity and hate. As our family continues to heal I would like to wish all a Happy New Year!
my heart goes out to your family. no one deserves this pain… and its sad to see people who are so heartless… its people like that that makes losing an innocent child like that so sad… there are more hurtful and terrible people like that that seems more worthless!

ps the mother looks like a crack whore what to exspect. btw u not suposed to take invants outside to the park like they 3-4 years old the kid didnt even have a jacket on mommy loves her very much YE YE…… thats th last shit i say about this im going to forget i ever seen weakminded junkys post thier problems on youtube.

My heart goes out to you and your family, we lost our first grand daughter, she would have been six. I have three other grand kids but I will never forget my first!
Formula feeding is also associated with an increased risk of SIDS. We can’t start blaming mothers for such tragic events because they smoked or gave formula. No-one is perfect and no-one will ever know what caused SIDS for a particular baby.
why the negs, smoking has been associated with an increase risk of sids. nevertheless, smoking is not good for an unborn child. good excuse to quit. i did, so i know it can be done.
1 baby dies every hour of SIDS. I’m so frusterated at the fact that there is no known cause for it. I’m so sorry for your loss.
